MMA Board of Directors

The MMA Board of Directors is installed during the association’s Annual Business Meeting, held each January. The 2012 Board was installed on January 21, 2012.

The 35 voting directors are selected by the following MMA organizations:
• Massachusetts Selectmen’s Association (MSA)
• Massachusetts Mayors’ Association (MMaA)
• Massachusetts Municipal Management Association (MMMA)
• Massachusetts Municipal Councillors’ Association (MMCA)
• Massachusetts Association of Town Finance Committees (ATFC)

The most immediate MMA past president still holding local office is an ex-officio member of the board. The MMA executive director is a non-voting, ex-officio member of the board.

The MMA Board of Directors holds eight regular meetings per year in Boston, followed by a regular meeting of the Local Government Advisory Commission with the governor.
